Nowruz Celebration

Nowruz is a happy celebration of the beginning of Spring. A beautiful table is set at each home, and close and distant family members visit each other and give money to children as a gift (good old times!).
IGSF Nowruz event is one not to miss out. Just like Yalda, it includes delicious Persian dinner, artistic performances, game, and completed with DJ and dancing. This year’s Nowruz celebration will be held on March 28th in the Stamp Colony Ballroom, evening to midnight. Tickets will go on sale in February.

Iftar Putlock

Each Ramadan we get together for the most delicious event of the year. We bring traditional food and sweets to share in a friendly atmosphere. This year, the event will be held sometime between April 23rd and May 23rd.

Yalda Night Celebration

From thousands of years ago Iranian families have gathered on the winter solstice (Yalda) to spend the longest night of the year with their love ones for a night of poetry reading, storytelling and night-long delicious treats.
Each year IGSF celebrates Yalda night with more than 200 guests. Our guests enjoy a hearty Persian meal, Iranian music performances, storytelling, games and more. The night ends with music by local Iranian DJ and dancing!
This year’s Yalda night will be held on the of December 6th in the Stamp Colony Ballroom, evening to midnight. Tickets will go on sale in November. Follow our Facebook page for more information and get your tickets fast because they sell out!
